To frame my flowers, I pierced a double row of holes. I made my flowers by using three different coloured scraps of card. My bird punch wing made the leaves, and these were inserted under the flowers.

The sentiment has been stamped on to a banner, and raised up on 3D pads.

I've used some rhinestones in the centre of the flowers for a bit of sparkle.

Just for you - Black and White

CAS.ology   Week 81: And

For my cue word "and", I decided to go with black "and" white. I've kept my design very simple.  My white card base has a double scored embossed frame around it.

I used a Sizzix die for my butterfly and then added some rhinestones for a bit of sparkle. My bird punch was used for the leaves.The sentiment has been stamped and raised up on 3D pads. This weeks cue card "and" has taken me out of my "comfort zone", as I like working with colours. I have to say I'm pleased with the finished result though.

Happy Valentine's Day

Less is More Challenge -  RAINBOW

Addicted to CAS -  Challenge #31 LOVE

For this weeks challenge of "Rainbow" I decided to make a Valentines card. 

I scored three rows of lines around my card to create a frame. Using some rainbow coloured card, I've hand cut some balloons. The bottom of the balloon uses the heart from my owl punch. They have been mounted on 3D pads.

My bear image has been stamped and then coloured with Promarkers.

On Your Birthday Have a Blast

CAS(E) this Sketch:   #62

I scored 3 lines on either side of my panel to fit in with the sketch. Then using my Gorgeous Grunge stamp set stamped and embossed my "Solar System" and sentiment.

My space rocket is from the set Blast Off and has been coloured in with Promarkers. I used the coordinating die to cut it out. The white triangular borders have been raised on 3D pads.

Have a mice day

CAS.ology   Week 80: Purple

A lovely challenge from CAS-ology this week, Purple, one of my favourite colours to craft with! I started with a white card base, then created a frame by scoring several lines at the top and bottom. I then used an edgelit die to make the wavy border.

I stamped and coloured my image with Promarkers, and added some Rhinestones to the flowers.

I used a suitable "cheesy" sentiment to finish off my card!

Happy Anniversary

Less is More Challenge -  SKETCH TIME

I had been wanting to have a play with this spiral flower die, and this weeks sketch challenge at Less is More, gave me the ideal opportunity to try it out. Using an embossing folder I created the silver band across my card.

I used some scraps of vellum and silver paper to make the flowers, and added some rhinestones to their centres. The flowers were layered over my punched out leaves.

I wanted to keep the colour scheme very simple, so added a sentiment stamped in grey to match my flowers.

Happy Anniversary

CAS(E) this Sketch:   #61

This weeks sketch reminded me of one of my favourite stamps, using a daisy instead of the tree.

Keeping closely to the sketch I stamped and coloured my image. The sentiment was stamped on to a banner, which was raised on 3D pads.

The finished image was also raised on 3D pads for extra definition.
