Birthday Greetings

Less is More Challenge -  ONE LAYER CARD - Shadow Stamping

I cut my card base in to a square, and scored a border around the edge to create a frame to work within. Using one of my Circle Dies, I cut out an aperture in the centre of my card, and I stamped my flower and leaves several times before re-inking

With the aid of my stamp-a-ma-jig, I positioned my Birthday Greetings in the centre of the aperture.

Birthday Greetings

I made a negative aperture for my sentiment. The goose was stamped once directly on to the card, and secondly, so that I could cut out the body and mount it on dimensional's. A strip of washi tape finished off the card.

Using my Stampin' Up! write markers I coloured my image and then stamped on to white card stock. With a corner rounder I've rounded off all the corners and added a button and some twine for extra interest.
