happy birthday

colourQ challenge:   #227

Using an embossing folder I created a panel down the front of my card. I used three colours to stamp and punch out my butterflies. These were glued to my white card base.

My sentiment has been stamped and double mounted, on to my fourth colour.

To finish of my butterflies I added a rhinestone.

Happy Birthday

We've all got designer paper hidden away in our stash, but when you're making cards with a CAS design its often difficult to incorporate on to your cards.

This week's challenge over at Less Is More is to use designer paper in a CAS way, so I've used mine as a background colour, behind the punched out butterflies on the embossed panel.

The butterfly was stamped and punched out, then glued into the punched aperture. To add a little extra sparkle, I've added a rhinestone to each butterfly.

Using my Stamp-a-ma-jig I stamped my sentiment in to the bottom right hand corner to balance my card.

Less is More Challenge - Colour Challenge Week 144: Fireworks

I made an embossed panel for the front of my card blank by using Stampin' Ups! Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

The butterflies were stamped using the Papillon Potpourri set and punched out. The banner is A Little Sentimental by Clearly Besotted, and the banner was cut with my Sizzix Die and mounted on 3D pads for extra effect.

happy birthday

CAS(E) this Sketch: #52

I created an embossed panel for the front of my card by using Stampin' Up! Textured Impressions Delicate Designs Embossing Folder.  I shaped the bottom edges with a corner rounder.

The banner was cut out with a Sizzix Die and the sentiment used is from the set A Little Sentimental from Clearly Besotted. This was raised up on 3D pads.

Using my Stamp-a-ma-jig I stamped out butterflies from the Stampin' Up! Papillon Potpourri set,  punched them out, then glued these to the front of my card.
