Less is More Challenge - Week 164 Recipe - THREE

I couldn't resist using one of my Penny Black stamps for this challenge, although it had to be modified slight as there are actually five mice on the stamp. What would we do without post it notes!!
With the lovely weather that we have been having lately, I went with a bright springtime colour scheme. I decided to make a patterned card base by using the largest die in my Circles Collection Framelits Dies. The edge was placed over the top of my card base, to make the hinge, and it was then run through my BigShot with the top plate only covering the front half of my card.
My image has been coloured in with Promarkers, I normally use my watercolour paints for these stamps, but I'm quite pleased with how this turned out.
I matted my image on to a piece of green card to add some impact, and made a bow for the top to hide the fact that its not a complete circle! |  |

ReplyDeleteThis is so cool - I love the way your card frame echoes the daisies the mice are daisy-chaining (I'm sure it's not a word ... but it could be). Your colouring is really great - reminds me of those lovely Bunnykins plates - cheers, Dianne
