happy birthday

CAS(E) this Sketch:  CAS(E) this Sketch #78

I'm loving the white on white look at the moment, so cut out my trellis border in white and added it to the front of my card.

I used my Little Leaves Sizzlets die to cut out my leaves, and made three die cut flowers.

I cut out my banner and then using my Stamp-a-ma-jig, positioned my sentiment. This was raised up on 3D pads.

Happy B-DAY

CAS.ology  Week 97: BEE

I have been having lots of fun trying out different shaped card bases lately, and decided to use another one for this weeks "Bee" challenge.

I found one of my Penny Black stamps that had a bee on it, then stamped and coloured it in. I made my sentiment up by using a set of alphabet dies, cutting out the letter's  B - DAY. I added a peel off for the word "Happy".

I stamped just the bee to the inside of my card, and coloured it in.

just for you

Less is More Challenge -  Week 173 We have a recipe! DIE CUT

A lovely challenge from the team at Less is More this week, which gave me the opportunity to make a shaped card, something I have been trying out a lot in the last couple of weeks. I used my first die to make the shaped card base. Keeping with white on white for a really simple look, I added a trellis frame to the front of my card.

My card now needed a splash of colour, so using my third and fourth dies, I cut out leaves and flowers. A sentiment was stamped and punched out to finish.

Trellis Die - Memory Box
Little Leaves Sizzlits - Stampin' Up!

Less is More Challenge -  Week 172 Theme FLOWERS

CAS.ology  Week 96: FLOWER

One of my favourite stamp sets at the moment is Flower Shop by Stampin' Up! and I've made my card by combining it with the matching punch. I really like how these three colours work together, and added some pearls for effect.

I embossed a double row of lines and stamped my sentiment in to the middle of it.

Lately whilst I have been making cards, I have tried to introduce some part of the image to the inside of my card to carry the theme through.
