happy birthday

colourQ challenge: #213

I stamped my image on to white card stock, which I then added a decorative border using my Stampin' Up! Adorning Accents Die.  This was fixed to a lilac card base.

My stamp is Patchwork Bunch of Balloons from Lili of the Valley, and was coloured in with Promarkers.
My sentiment comes from the set Teeny Tiny Sentiments, and is layered using the Word Window and Modern Label Punches, all from Stampin' Up!

just for you

CASology challenge - Week 68: BLACK

I made a black card base, and created a double pierced frame with my Paper-Piercing Essentials Pack from Stampin' Up!

I double stamped and embossed in white, my Stampin' Up! Quint-Essential Flower stamp.  Then using my Stampin' Up! Scalloped punch, punched out the centre of my image and raised this up on 3D pads.

The sentiment is A Little Sentimental by Clearly Besotted, and was cut out using my Sizzix Banner Die.

Happy Birthday

Less is More Challenge - Recipe Week 143: String or Twine

This weeks challenge at Less is More reminds me of when I started to craft, some thirteen years ago!  The art of Spirelli at that time was very popular, but it's not something that I've seen lately.

I started with a white card blank that I embossed two sets of parallel lines across.  Using my Stampin' Up! Scallop Circle and some black twine found in my stash, I made my flower.  A small button from Stampin' Up! Designer Subtles Collection finished this off.  The leaves were made using my Stampin' Up! Bird Punch.

The sentiment is from the Salutations Set by Paper Smooches.

the sky's the limit

CAS(E) this Sketch: #51

The  balloon and sentiment stamps I've used are from a retired set by Stampin' Up! The balloon was stamped, cut out and raised up on 3D pads.

The cloud die is Puffy Clouds by Memory Box.  The card front has been mounted on 3D pads to give added definition.

happy birthday

colourQ challenge: #212

The background for my card uses my Stampin' Up! Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder, which was adhered to a black card base. I stamped and punched out the other three colours with the Stampin' Up! co-ordinating Punch and Stamp set.

I added a black strip to the front of my card and added my three punched out shapes.  A bit of bling was added for extra effect.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, the punches used are Word Window and Modern Label, all from Stampin' Up!

Sorry I had the hump with you !!

CASology challenge - Week 67: COUNTRY

I created a background for my "Country" card with Pebbles Inc. Pastel chalks. Using a mask I made a sand dune effect for my Camel. He is from the Zoo Crew set by Paper Smooches, and was coloured in with Promarkers.

The sentiment is computer generated, and cut out with my Sizzix banner die.

I then added a pierced border to the card using Stampin' Up! Paper-Piercing Pack Essentials, to compliment the piercing on the banner.
